About
The Bombay Cottage was established in 1993 and is situated in the heart of Stamford, England’s finest stone built town. The Restaurant itself is within a grade 2 listed building with exposed beams and stones which gives the establishment a real feel of rich history and originality. One of the standout points of The Bombay Cottage is its sense of community and restaurant owner, Habib Rahman, is right at the very heart of that.
The Challenge
We were given a clear campaign objective which was to:
grow takeaway orders
increase the frequency of repeat orders

Approach
We devised a multi-channel email and social campaign strategy to ensure we were in the best position to achieve the objective from the outset. As part of this strategy we carried out a photoshoot to highlight the key features of the restaurant showing them in their best light; high-quality, fresh food, friendly staff operating in an inviting atmosphere and adding an element of personality to the family-run business.
Alongside the above, we identified an area we could really exploit to help us connect and engage with The Bombay Cottage’s customers which was through the form of a social media competition. Why? Well it was simple, to give something back to those that had been loyal to the business in return for sharing our content with their friends and family members to ultimately increase reach and target new customers.
